NSA Next GENE-eration Giveaway is back!
Following a successful first running of the NSA Next GENE-eration programme in 2021 the initiative is excited to return, and this time two breeds are joining the programme to support young sheep farmers.
Having teamed up with sheep farmers Rob and Jo Hodgkins of Kaiapoi Romneys for the second time, and now also the Dutch Spotted Sheep Society, NSA is inviting applications from enthusiastic young sheep farmers in the UK who would like to be considered as a recipient of a ram voucher redeemable at a Dutch Spotted Sheep Society 2023 sale or for a ram to be collected from the Cambridgeshire base of Kaiapoi Romneys.
The two breeds will offer sheep farmers from contrasting systems the opportunity to benefit from top class genetics that will help young sheep farmers progress their systems.
To apply to be considered as a recipient of the giveaway applicants are required to submit a short video clip (No more than three minutes) explaining the reasons for the application and an overview of why they believe they should be considered as a chosen recipient.
Applications are invited from UK based young sheep farmers aged 16 to 35.
